Our clinic proudly holds ASAVA Accreditation, which recognizes companion animal practices that achieve the highest levels of quality health care and practice management in innovative, state-of-the-art hospital facilities. We are also a part of the ISFM accredited Gold Cat Friendly practice that is designed to reduce the stress for cats and making veterinary visits easier for cat owners as well.
Our long-established clinic thrives with a team of remarkable talent and compassion, comprising 2 accomplished Veterinarians, 5 nurses (including 2 trainee nurses), a dedicated receptionist, and a Practice Manager. Our hallmark lies in the exceptional level of care we provide to both our animal patients and their devoted owners. Our expert nursing team not only excels in their roles but also wholeheartedly supports our Veterinarian team in delivering the highest standards of care.
The Opportunity:
In this pivotal role, you will:
- 4+ Years experience
- Administer medical and surgical treatments, prescribe medications, analgesics, and manage general and local anesthesia.
- Determining the presence and nature of abnormal conditions by physical examination, laboratory testing and through diagnostic imaging techniques including radiography and ultrasound
- Performing surgery
- Advising clients on health, nutrition and feeding, hygiene, and care of animals · Vets work a 4-day week. We are happy to negotiate flexible working conditions for the right applicant.

- Dedicated clients committed to the health of their animals (most with pet insurance!) - A lot of families and young professionals - for many of which their pets are their world
- Lunches provided for team meetings/training sessions
- Access to the Veterinary Training Centre (VetPartners) - this is not taken from study leave allowance; 1 week study leave;regular lunch & learns

Nitty Gritty:
- The usual roster is 38 hours split over 4 days (3x 10 hour, 1x 8 hour)- BUT WE ARE FLEXIBLE. This position can be 25-30 hours per week.
- 3-week rotating Saturday roster: 1 in 3 Saturdays (5 hour day)
- The clinic is open 8-6pm weekdays and 8-1pm Saturdays
- Shifts are balanced with equal parts surgery and consulting
- Performance-based pay review after 6 months’ probationary period
- We try to ensure that the vets leave on time and are not too rushed.Appointments usually 20 min for routine exams & vaccinations, 30 minutes for problem-based consults. Scheduled path time for each patient and medication dispensing time each day.
- In-house IDEXX bloods machine
- Access to complimentary opinions from MARS and Insight to help with diagnosis
- We have monthly clinic meetings on rotating days during which the clinic is closed for 1.5 hours to go through positives and any concerns that staff members may have
