We are looking for an experienced Cert IV Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join the Aspley Veterinary Practice in a full time or part-time role.

Our two - three veterinarian practice is a long-established, very well regarded, small animal practice located on the northside of metropolitan Brisbane.
The clinic is a newly renovated clinic encompassing a modern boutique vibe. We are very blessed to have an amazing clientele that care deeply about their pets and their healthcare. We pride ourselves in creating long standing relationships and ensuring clients respect and trust us to do what is best for their pets.
This position can be Full Time or Part-Time and we'd expect the successful Veterinary Nurse to work shifts within the range of 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 7:30am - 12noon. Some Saturday morning work is a required part of this position.

Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness within the clinic.
- Reception duties.
- Providing client education and advice.
- Assisting Veterinarians with animals during examination and surgery.
- Preparing animals for surgery, including placing i/v catheters and blood collection
- Monitoring patients during anaesthesia and providing post-operative care.
- Preparing and administrating medications.
- Running in house pathology.
- Assisting in ultrasound and radiography.
