Current disciplines include internal medicine, oncology, surgery, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, theriogenology, dermatology, anaesthesia, and cardiology with immediate plans to expand our services.

At Pet Emergency, our emergency and critical care veterinarians handle a diverse and stimulating caseload, with 24/7 support from our specialist teams. We are proud to be ACVECC-provisional veterinary trauma centre and are accredited as gold cat friendly clinics.

The Position

As an integral part of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to serve as a clinical mentor to our rotating intern cohort, contributing to their professional growth and development. Requirements of the Role:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) with full practicing rights in Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a veterinarian
  • Eligibility and the right to work in Australia and ability to register as a Veterinarian in Queensland
