Larkhill Vets are looking for a keen and genuine horse Veterinarian to work in our quality, purpose-built Equine hospital in Western Australia.
We provide the full complement of Equine services, including:
- Large, efficient surgical theatre, equipment and recovery.
- 150KV 360° gantry operated X-ray generator
- Eklin digital radiography
- MyLabOmega diagnostic ultrasound machine
- 3m Gastroscope / Video Endoscope
- Array of other video endoscopes and wireless portable DR system
- Pulsevet Shockwave therapy machine.
- Portable reproductive scanners
- Laboratory facilities
- Undercover trot up lanes, round yard, with over 30 boxes and yards, plus 20 sheltered paddocks.
- Frozen and chilled breeding.
Our centre is 45 minutes south of Perth, close to amenities, and just minutes from fantastic beaches. We are directly opposite the Larkhill Thoroughbred Training Track.
We offer a shared workload within a team of 3 to 4 Veterinarians, involving a 4 1/2 day week. Afterhours is on an equal share roster, and incentives are paid. Renumeration is negotiable as per experience.
Performance horse, and reproduction experience will be viewed favourably.
