Thunderbolt Equine Veterinary Services is looking for another vet to join our team. We are a 100% equine practice based in Armidale, northern NSW, and we cover a large area including the New England, northern slopes and beyond. We service a diverse range of race and performance horses, and there is the opportunity to focus on whatever area of equine practice interests you.

Our practice provides in clinic and ambulatory care in all facets of equine practice including;

• Fully ambulatory service including all the equipment you might need on the road- DR, ultrasound (repro, musculoskeletal and abdominal), video endoscopy, stall side diagnostics, power dental equipment, portable crush etc
• Full service reproduction centre
• Hospital facilities for medical cases and standing surgery
• In house blood analysis

Continuing education and post graduate qualifications are actively encouraged. New grads can expect as much mentorship and support as you need.

Armidale is a large town in the New England tablelands halfway between Brisbane and Sydney. There is an airport with multiple flights to Sydney each day, and we are only 2 hours from the coast. Town is surrounded by several beautiful national parks, and any of the creature comforts you might want are available in Armidale.

Car, phone and laptop will be provided. We can also provide basic accommodation at the clinic while you find your feet, and can help you get settled in the area.
