About the role

Advance Equine Vets' is seeking a passionate and experienced Equine Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Bundall, QLD. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of equine patients and be part of a highly respected veterinary practice.

What you'll be doing

Provide comprehensive veterinary care and treatment to our equine patients, including routine check-ups, anaesthesia, hospital and ambulatory clients, diagnostics, and emergency care Collaborate with the wider veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Conduct regular examinations, administer medications, and perform minor surgical procedures as required Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards Engage with clients to provide education, advice, and support on equine health and wellbeing Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the practice's capabilities and services.

What we're looking for:

• MUST have a degree in Veterinary Medicine and a valid license to practice in Queensland
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Equine Veterinarian
• Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of equine anatomy, physiology, and common health conditions
• Exceptional communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support horse owners
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to supporting the growth and development of the wider veterinary team
• A passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to equine patients and a dedication to their wellbeing
