Great team, supportive environment, passionate vets, highly varied caseloads, unique propositions, and dedicated clients, with NEWLY RENOVATED Consult Rooms, Surgery and Reception!!

Bligh Park Pet Health Centre is a unique, family-owned and community-focused small animal practice. We pride ourselves on being the animals' advocates, and always having our clients’ and animals’ best interest at heart.

We're a 3-vet, 5-nurse team that practises veterinary medicine and surgery to a high clinical standard in a fun-loving, teams-based environment.

Educating pet owners about the importance of 'food is medicine' is at the core of our mission. Our team has the expertise and experience in incorporating Raw Meaty Bones, medicine, and surgery in the treatment of sick dogs and cats. This allows for a truly unique, all-encompassing approach to treatment. Our strong emphasis on diet and preventative health, often sees our patients achieve life-changing results.

At the brim of the Hawkesbury region, we are well-equipped to handle a wide-ranging caseload, including emergency cases with snake and tick envenomation, orthopaedics, complex soft tissue surgeries, and of course, routine desexings and dental surgeries. We also have visiting specialists for orthopaedics and ultrasound diagnostics.

Based on the edge of Hawkesbury, this beautiful, semi-rural area has got plenty to offer. It is less than an hour away from the city, about an hour away from the beaches, it is close to the Blue Mountains for scenic tours and hiking, and access to river is not far from the clinic. There is wildlife visiting the back door of the clinic every day. They also have the Macquarie Arms, the oldest pub on the mainland 15 mins drive from the clinic.

What we offer:

  • A well supported working environment – two nurses to one vet ratio, nurses are experienced. They handle most of the client communications, surgical estimates, admissions, discharges, triaging for emergency cases etc.
  • A mixed caseload being in semi-rural area.
  • Equipped with Zoetis in-house blood and cytology machine, digital X-rays, and ultrasound.
  • Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience, salary package between 110-140k pro-rata.
  • Discretionary end-of-year bonus dependent on performance
