Singleton Heights Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced small animal vet to join our dedicated team.
About us:
We are located in the heart of the beautiful Hunter Valley, 1 hour from Newcastle and 20 minutes from the Pokolbin wine region.
We are a small animal only veterinary clinic with 1.5 vets and 4 experienced nurses, all over 7 years in the industry allowing you to concentrate on being a vet. We also have a manager who actively works on culturing appropriate scheduling and staff development.
We are dedicated to providing best practice service to our patients & clients, as well as providing a supportive environment with a great work life balance for our team. The clinic hosts all the latest equipment (ultrasound, x-ray, dental x-ray, in house Idexx blood machines) for case work up to a high standard and an orthopaedic surgeon accessible when required.
Our opening hours are 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday & 8.30am to 12.00pm Saturday.
About the role:
We are ideally looking for a part time veterinarian. Consulting is run morning and afternoon with procedures performed during the middle of the day. This works most efficiently for a sole veterinarian but could be altered to suit a multi-veterinary preferred style. There is no on-call or afterhours required.

Remuneration is flexible based on experience and we are willing to discuss or adjust the scope of the role for the right applicants.
