We can’t promise you every day won’t be challenging, but we can promise we will be there to support you. We have a large team across three clinics with a number of understanding senior leaders with years of experience, to help you every day.
We have an average ratio of 2 support staff per vet employed on our team so you get the time and support you need to allow you to enjoy your work in a caring, supportive and safe environment where we value your contributions.
We have dedicated hospital nurses, dedicated receptionists and senior veterinarians to support you all day every day so you can focus on being a dedicated vet!
Full time 4 days per week
We have a number of staff on varying hours per week to suit their work/life balance which provides the opportunity to complete a full time 38hr work week in just 4 days per week giving you a great work life balance.
We have a range of shifts that, for example, can commence from between 6:30am – 9am and finish between 5pm - 7:30pm. We are open 7 days, but have no “On Call” work and afterhours work is at your discretion at the end of your designated shift for additional remuneration.
The opportunity:
- Above award wages, negotiable based on experience, 2+ years will be highly regarded;
- Annual education allowances can be used on technology, training, holiday accommodation/flights etc;
- 3 Weeks of transitional shifts with our team of existing Veterinarians to ensure you have the support required to succeed in commencing your role with us. These shifts you are rostered on with a mentor to provide support and training while you conduct your work during your first month;
- Experienced and professional team of vets and nurses that provide a wealth of knowledge and support to enable you to succeed;
- No on call work ever! See afterhours (at the end of your shift if you choose) at your discretion, on your terms, for bonus remuneration;
- Opportunity to see a varying range of cases and procedures on a daily basis;
- Great facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray (w/dental), Idexx in-house labs, fully outfitted house call vehicles, Ezyvet, and large surgery/treatment spaces;

Essential professional criteria:
- Australian citizen, work visa/working rights or permanent resident;
- Qualification and Registration as a Veterinarian in the state of Queensland;
- Hold a current driver’s license and we will assist you in obtaining a radiation license on commencement.
