This position presents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced veterinarian. We offer opportunities to further your skills in a range of disciplines as we have a high caseload, veterinary surgeons with advanced skills and the equipment to work up cases extensively. This opportunity is extremely rare in private primary care practice in Australia. We have a specialist in small animal reproduction and veterinarians with postgraduate qualifications in medicine and surgery. We have visiting surgical and medicine specialists available to perform complicated procedures. Continuing education and special interests are encouraged and there is access to VIN, BSAVA resources, Plumb’s Online and a continuing education allowance is provided. No sole charge, after hours or on-call required. Additionally, there is an opportunity to publish papers and perform research if desired and undertake a residency in reproduction. Interest in a practice partnership would be an advantage.
Wyndham Veterinary Clinic is a large, privately-owned, exceptionally well-equipped small animal practice. We have a high nurse to vet ratio and an extensive range of diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, full in-house pathology suite, high-end ultrasound machine, endoscopy, laparoscopy, CT scanner, dental suites, six consulting rooms and three operating theatres.

Salary and hours are negotiable. We offer an excellent base salary package plus a guaranteed percentage of the revenue you earn to ensure pay fairness.
