About Us

We are a busy small animal practice privately owned on Brisbane’s Bayside.

We are a local small animal veterinary surgery serving the local community for over 40 years in the beautiful bayside suburb of Wynnum.

We are looking for an experienced nurse, preferably with a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing.

We have a position open for a veterinary nurse, offering opportunities in all aspects of practice- reception duties, dentistry, anaesthesia in surgery, radiographs, in-house pathology, inpatient hospital care and client/patient relationships. Our practice facilities include a range of inhouse IDEXX machines, digital radiographs, brand new ultrasound machine, digital dental radiographs and a separate surgical suite.

As a smaller practice, nurses have the opportunity to utilize all their skills and will be able to participate in the full range of nursing duties and assist the veterinarians when required.

About the position

• The position is for a full-time 38 hour a week
• Hours are; early shift 7:30am-4:30/5:30pm
• Late shift 9:30/10:30am – 6:30pm
• A full day off each week.
• Saturdays are from 8.00am to 1.00pm every 2nd or 3rd week.
• Above award pay.
