Established in 1990, Belmont Veterinary Centre has become a favourite in Geelong for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and pocket pets. This large facility is one of only four gold standard cat friendly accredited practices in Victoria. We have a dedicated cat only consulting room with climbing obstacles and hidey holes, as well as a cat only hospital ward. At Belmont, you will gain valuable experience with the support of a caring and friendly team. We are well equipped with modern equipment including Full Idexx in-house lab and fluid pumps, Digital X-Ray & Developer, Dental Unit, Ultrasound and Multi-Parameter Monitoring.
To be successful for this position, you will have:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
- Experience with both consultative and surgical procedures preferred
- Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
- A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
- Strong organisational and communication skills
For full-time, you will be required to work a flexible 4-day working week which may include a rotating Saturday morning shift. For part-time, we can discuss your availability and what works best for you and your family whether that be within school hours or otherwise!
