Vet Central Animal Hospital is a privately owned fully fitted veterinary hospital, established 12 years ago in south west Sydney and have all the latest technology. We have a dedicated client base and provide a high standard of care to clients and patients in a friendly and supportive environment.

We are currently seeking a full-time veterinarian with at least 3 years of experience, to join our team. The candidate should have a cheerful personality and have excellent communication skill. They should be confident and be thorough working up of medical and surgical cases.

The Role:

• Work independently.
• Manage medical and surgical cases
• Support and mentor staff
• Liaise with clients and support staff
• Have leadership qualities
• Interest in growth of the practice as a business
• Be pro-active in keeping up-to-date with information relating to the small animal medicine and surgery

About you:

• Must hold a BVSc or similar veterinary degree from an accredited university
• Must be registered with the NSW Veterinary Board
• Relevant work experience of 3-5 consecutive years in a small animal practice
• Experience in managing medical and surgical caseloads for dogs, cats and (optional) rabbits
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to form, develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and support staff
