The PRESTON VET CLINIC AND HOSPITAL has an opportunity for Full Time and/or Part Time vets to join our team.
The purpose-built hospital has been serving the community of the inner north of Melbourne for over 70 years and is located approximately 7 kms from the CBD. The clinic adopts a "high-tech, high-touch" approach (longer consultation times and lots of diagnostics), has modern equipment and is always busy.
The positions involve no after-hours work but will require weekend rotational shifts. You will be supported by ample nursing staff and other experienced colleagues. Soft tissue surgical competency is expected and some experience with ultrasonography would be looked upon favourably.
The clinic is privately owned with no KPI'S and up-selling to worry about and the vibe is upbeat and easy-going so you can concentrate on the needs of our patients.
We like to do the majority of surgery in-house without referring out too often but at the same time we have good working relationships with visiting specialists.
We have recently adopted a very user-friendly cloud-based software (IDEXX Neo) to further enhance the working experience.
