Central Veterinary Services is seeking a small animal or mixed veterinarian to join our growing practice.
What is the type of work we do?
- Varied small animal case load (specialist referrals are close enough to be available)
- Beef cattle - including pregnancy testing and bull testing
- Indigenous community clinics that involve traveling up to remote regions of the Cape York Peninsula
- Equine - including reproductive work as well as general work ups

- A strong support network with an experienced team of vets and nurses (in and out of work hours)
- New graduate training and support program (no on call until a new graduate feels comfortable)

- 4-day work week (designated weekly RDO)
- 1 in 4 on call roster with industry leading after hours remuneration
- Relocation assistance to the Mareeba area
- 30-minute consult appointments
- CPD Courses (Equine Dentistry, Bull Testing Accreditation, Small Animal Ultrasound, Small Animal Surgery) or Conventions
