Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Full Time Head Veterinarian with aspirations for greater responsibility that is rewarded and recognised financially. A day in the life...

• With our Practice Manger, lead & guide team on a day-to-day basis and build a positive, inclusive culture across the clinic.
• Be responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
• Lead by example & working to create a positive culture & working environment.
• Undertake administrative tasks such as vet rosters, timesheets, and reviews.
• Treat animals medically and surgically, and administering and prescribing drugs, analgesics, and general and local anaesthetics.
• Determine the presence and nature of abnormal conditions by physical examination, laboratory testing and through diagnostic imaging techniques including radiography and ultrasound.
• Perform surgery and dressing wounds (basic orthopaedic skills favourable but not essential).
• Render obstetric services to animals.
• Advise clients on health, nutrition and feeding, hygiene, breeding, and care of animals.
• Proactively support our recruitment and employer brand programs.

The role requires that you:

• Promote excellent clinical skills,
• Build relationships and deliver high customer service standards.
• Maintain the clinics financials,
• Provide support and positivity to your team.
