Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of advanced and routine surgeries, including soft tissue, orthopaedic, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals to diagnose and treat complex medical and surgical cases.
- Maintain excellent client communication throughout the surgical process, from initial consultation to post-operative care.
- Ensure that surgical protocols are followed, and patient safety is prioritised at all times.
- Guide and support the continuing education and professional development of the surgical staff.
- Work in collaboration with hospital leadership to support the hospital's growth and enhance the surgical service offering.

About You:
- Qualifications: DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree with an active license to practice veterinary medicine in Victoria.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of surgical experience, including expertise in soft tissue, orthopaedic, and emergency surgeries with a minimum 5 years' experience as a Lead Surgeon
- Exceptional diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to handle complex cases.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with veterinary professionals and support staff.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and ethical care to patients and clients.
