We are a privately owned clinic that has been servicing Tamworth and surrounds for over 40 years.

We currently have a team of 7 full time and 2 part time vets. Experience varies from new graduates all the way through to 10-20 years post-graduation.

We are an eclectic team that support each other every day.

Offering modern small animal and large animal practice with a high standard of care.

Our focus is on being able to provide a comprehensive service to a large regional community.

We have digital radiography (inc dental), endoscopy, ultrasound, high quality orthopaedic gear and access to local advanced imaging (CT) services.

The team's experience and skills allow us to offer a large amount of interventional veterinary services within medicine, surgery both soft tissue and orthopaedic (BOAS, TPLO etc), and assisted breeding technologies (companion and production animal).

We are a genuine regional mixed practice. Everyday we have 1-2 vets designated to farm/large animal services. Services are focused around commercial and seedstock southern beef operations, but we also service local dairy farms as well covering all the other stuff (sheep, horses, alpacas, pigs etc)

The clinic has the caseload and scope to pursue most clinical interests. A suitable candidate will have 12 months or more experience, however the right new graduate will be considered.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, effective communicator who's willing to have a crack at all things mixed practice. We are confident that Piper Street provides a support network and professional scaffold to develop confident, skilled mixed practitioners.

Salary- $90-120,000 p.a but also open to negotiation. We are keen to create a package that you are comfortable with and reflects your experience and skill set.

Fundamentally we value the presence of skilled veterinary practice in rural/regional Australia.
