Mixed Vet

Organisation:
Moura Veterinary Clinic
Location:
Moura, QLD Other
Occupation:
Veterinarian - Mixed Animal
Employment Type:
Full Time

If you are an enthusiastic, caring Vet with good people skills and sense of humour, then we want you to join our wonderful team of three vets and nurses, at our privately owned mixed practice (60% SA, 40% LA). We take pride in providing quality medicine and offering warm and welcoming services for our clients.

Small animal work is an interesting variety of medicine and surgery which includes regular orthopaedics and trauma cases. Whilst busy, generally the load allows for you to fully work up your cases. New and recent graduates will find this a great place to learn as distance from referral centres necessitates developing skills in a broad variety of areas.

Large animal work includes cattle (mainly beef pregnancy and bull fertility testing, disease investigation and a few calvings) and horses (stock horses, pleasure and pony club). Our branch practice clinic is serviced on a regular basis as well as supporting a nearby Aboriginal Shire with their animal health programme.

Moura Veterinary Clinic is a purpose built, well equipped practice, and we aim to provide a high standard of service whilst gaining enjoyment from our work.

We have been mentoring new graduates for many years, just ask our current or past team – they will confirm that this is a great place to work.
Experienced vets also will have plenty of scope to pursue their veterinary interests.

A generous above award salary package is offered and is commensurate with experience.
4 weeks annual leave,
1 week study conference leave
CPD allowance
After-hours bonus, etc.
Free basic accommodation is available.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be well supported. Interested?
