The opportunity

This is a unique and exciting chance to advance your career with a leading oncology specialist network. As an intern, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience in both medical and radiation oncology. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team, including one oncology specialist (Dual diplomate in Medical and Radiation oncology), two medical oncology residents, one intern and experienced support staff. This role offers exposure to a wide range of complex cases, providing the ideal environment to develop your skills and experience.

The position is based in Sydney with the opportunity of rotating through our 3 locations across Sydney: North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre, Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists & The Pet Specialists.

For the right candidate, there is the potential to progress into a medical oncology residency program following the internship.

About you:

  • Qualified veterinarian with eligibility to be registered in New South Wales
  • MANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine (or intent to sit) preferred, but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, a passion for veterinary excellence, and a commitment to comprehensive patient care
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
