ONE Cancer Care is now seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic veterinarian to join the dedicated team as a Veterinary Oncology Intern.
The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to advance your career in a leading oncology specialist network.
The position is based in Sydney with the opportunity of rotating through our 3 locations across Sydney: North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre, Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists & The Pet Specialists.
This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a comprehensive medical and radiation oncology service. You will work closely with our experienced team including 2 Oncology specialists, 2 medical oncology residents and speciality trained support team.
There is the potential for an internship position to be followed by a medical oncology residency program for the right candidate.
About you:
- Qualified veterinarian with eligibility to be registered in New South Wales
- MANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine or intention to sit is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, a team player with a passion for veterinary excellence and comprehensive patient care
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure
