The Cat Clinic is a well-established group of veterinary practices located in South East Queensland, dedicated exclusively to the care of cats. We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated part-time Veterinarian to join our growing team at our Gold Coast branch.

About Us:

  • Our clinic is a dedicated feline only practice, offering a high standard of care for cats.
  • We are a small, independently owned veterinary clinic where client relationships and the care provided to their beloved feline friends is paramount.

The Role:

  • Location: Molendinar, Gold Coast, Queensland
  • Position: Part-time Veterinarian
  • Hours: Hours are flexible and can be negotiated. Shared Saturday hours of 9-2pm (Negotiable)
  • Workload: 100% feline care with an interesting mix of medical and surgical cases
  • Team: Work alongside a team of 3 nurses and 1 veterinarian at the Gold Coast branch, and a much larger team of veterinarians, nurses and a feline medicine specialist within the Cat Clinic group of clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent care to our growing client base.
  • Perform consultations and routine examinations, diagnostics, and surgeries for cats.
  • Utilize our in-house IDEXX laboratory, diagnostic imaging (including full-body and dental x-rays, ultrasound), and a dedicated surgical theatre. We can provide a work space where you can further develop your diagnostic and surgical skills.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and personalized care.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You must LOVE cats!
  • Experience: At least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, able to develop lasting relationships with clients.
  • Work Ethic: A positive attitude, good teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality care.
  • Specialization: Experience in feline medicine is preferred but not essential.
