Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital is a long-established practice serving Canberra for over 30 years with an enviable staffing retention rate. We have a dedicated team of over 30 team members who achieve a high standard of care for our patients. About Us: At Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, we promote the joy of pet ownership and cultivate long-term client relationships based on a high standard of care. Recognised as the Vets Central Practice of the Year, we are a progressive and busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team comprising of veterinarians, nurses, animal attendants, and admin.
We are open six days a week (Monday — Friday: 8am — 6:30pm and Saturdays 8am-3pm). Lunch breaks are paid for on unbroken shifts.
The Role: There are opportunities for surgery, ultrasound, dental work, and special interest development. The successful candidate will be supported in a culture of collaboration with our team of Veterinarians and support staff to provide a high standard of patient care.
Our modern, purpose-built 100% small animal hospital includes access to modern equipment such as a Vetstat blood gas analyser, Procyte haematology analyser, digital x-ray, flexible and rigid video endoscopes, dental machine, ECG, doppler ultrasound, pulse oximetry, doppler, and PetMap blood pressure monitors, etc.
Who We Need: We are looking for experienced veterinarians who are able to obtain full Board registration in the ACT. New/recent graduate veterinarians are welcome to apply and will be supported through the Vets Central Graduate Program.
The successful candidate will:

- Possess management skills, interest in surgery, ultrasound, and/or continuing education/specialist qualifications or special interests will be highly regarded.
