Scarborough Veterinary Surgery is located in Redcliffe, Moreton Bay Regional Council area of Queensland, approximately a 40min easy drive north from Brisbane and within close proximity to idyllic surrounds; beaches, parklands, cafes and restaurants, national parks, a fabulous vibe and a laidback lifestyle. We are a small animal practice, underpinned by a tight team who takes immense pride in the services we deliver. A team that really believes we are making a difference and have been doing so for over 30 years. Our comprehensive veterinary surgery facilities and equipment include a Digital X-Ray, IM 3 dental equipment and IM 3 dental x-ray unit.
We are open Mon-Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat: 8:15am-12:00pm and closed on Sundays. You will be required to work a sensible roster with scheduled time for writing notes/callbacks, having lunch breaks and leaving on time!
This opportunity will suit an experienced vet or a recent graduate with some basic surgical and dental skills and a desire to continue developing professionally and personally. If you're a recent graduate, you'll have the comradery of another recent graduate and the support of 3 experienced vets until your confidence grows.
Your day may be made up of:
- General consultation and examinations
- Medicine work-up
- Routine Soft Tissue Surgery
- Assisting the visiting orthopaedic specialist
- Dentistry
- Anaesthesia
