Stones Corner Vet has been an integral part of the community for over 40 years. From cloud-based Ascend (RxWorks), Idexx bloods, Sedivue urinalysis and Imagyst cytology, to digital x-ray, dental x-ray and highly trained nurses to make your day flow smoothly, we've got you covered.
We are blessed with lovely pet-parents that listen to your recommendations and are happy for you to perform thorough work-ups and procedures for their pets. We thrive on educating our clients which allows the majority of our day to be routine care rather than reactive bedlam.
About the role
We are looking for a Veterinarian that understands our clients come second only to our team. You enjoy your work and nurture a good relationship with your colleagues. You appreciate that our clients are busy people and come to us for our expertise, knowledge and care. You thrive on recommending diagnostic work-up and optimal care to help answer their questions and manage their pet's concerns. You are comfortable communicating to the team and leaning on the nurses to allow workflow to be efficient and seamless.
Our current roster has 18.5hr/wk to fill, however we are happy to discuss more or less hours to suit the right candidate. We understand your skills and pay above award wage to match the standard you bring to the clinic. The position will work between dedicated consult shifts and surgery shifts. While newer vets are welcome to apply, you must be confident to independently work up routine cases.
