The Hinterland Veterinary Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, hardworking small animal veterinarian to join our veterinary team. We are a busy small animal practice situated in Nerang on the banks of the Nerang River. 

We have the beaches of the Gold Coast a short drive to the East and the beautiful Hinterland to the west, so there is always something fun to do. We see a healthy work-life balance as being something extremely important and in this location the life part of that balance can be a lot of fun. 

We are an independent boutique  veterinary surgery with a lot of excellent veterinary equipment including: 

• Digital Radiography: 
  • Plain radiographs using EVS Advanced Wireless DR System with the EConsole Vet Acquisition Software.   
  • Dental radiographs using im3 CR 7 VET dental x-ray. 
• Dental machine: 
  • Im3 GS for scaling, polishing and cutting. (attachments also for exotics). 
• Ultrasound: 
  • MyLab Gamma VET machine for abdominal ultrasound. 
• In-house blood testing: 
  • IDEXX Catalyst One – for biochemistry 
  • IDEXX Procyte Dx – for haematology 
  • IDEXX VetStat – for blood gas and electrolytes 
  • IDEXX Coag Dx – for PT and APTT. 
• Miscellaneous: 
  • Tono-Pen AVIA VET – for IOP. 
  • Heated surgery table 
  • Doppler Blood Pressure Monitor 
  • And lots more…

• Enthusiasm and energy are a must. 
• Some experience would be preferred but recent/new graduates will be considered.
