Kingsford Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a Qualified & Experienced Veterinary Nurse to cover reception every Saturday, 8.30am-5pm.

Kingsford Vet Hospital is a family run practice and has been dedicated to the care of Sydney’s Eastern suburbs pets for more than 50 years! We are a well-equipped hospital with in-house Idexx Catalyst and Procyte pathology machines, digital radiography, ultrasound, IM3 dental unit with dental radiography and we have a multi parameter anaesthetic monitor & bair hugger for your anaesthetic needs.

Kingsford Vet Hospital is looking for a person with the following skills:

• Ideally at least 1 year full-time, in-clinic experience
• Have a strong passion for working with animals
• Provide gold standard care to all patients and clients
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, reception and telephone skills.
• Works well in a busy environment
• Good general nursing skills, including blood collection, catheter placement, anaesthetic monitoring, etc;
• Friendly and professional nature

A bit about the position…

We are looking for someone to work every Saturday 8.30am-5pm. The role is casual, but part-time, with additional weekday shifts will be considered for the right person. The role is mainly reception, but we are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse as you will be responsible for patient care & need to be able to recognise emergencies & triage affectively. You will also be required to assist the vet were necessary.
