Full Time remote work from home, Senior (Vet) Claims Assessor

We’re looking for an empathetic, animal-loving vet to join our awesome team of Senior Claims Assessors as our company grows! If you have veterinary clinic expertise and a passion for helping others.

The Role

In this role you’ll work closely with our Claims Manager and Head Vet to settle pet claims while defying customer expectations along the way.  With a customer-first mind set you will be responsible for evaluating and processing complex veterinary claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fairness. This role requires strong veterinary knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make informed decisions based on policy terms and conditions. The Senior Claims Assessor will also provide guidance and support to junior assessors and contribute to processes.

Handling claims for veterinary costs while showing your empathy and kindness to our furry friends and their parents.

A financial services position where you will be using your vet knowledge and expertise.

You

• Veterinary degree qualification 
• A passion for supporting customers and their pets
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong clinical knowledge
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Passion for change and innovation
• Ability to make decisions
• Ability to learn new systems quickly with knowledge of Microsoft office or equivalent software.
• Ability to work a minimum 30 hours / week.
