The working week consists of 5 days (Sunday-Thursday) and 2 out of 3 Fridays. Friday’s will either be paid for separately or can be taken as days in lieu. Typical hours worked in a week are 35-45 hours. On call will be required, which typically amounts to 1 week out of 3. The salary will start at 12,000 USD per month, as well as an additional on call rate. There is no tax on salary in Saudi Arabia, however you may be liable for taxes in your home country, depending on your residency or citizenship status, or depending on how long you stay overseas.
Accommodation and a car will be provided. There is a generous CPD allowance and 5 days of CPD leave. You will live on the Aramco compound in Dhahran, where day-to-day life is extremely safe. The normal rules and regulations of Saudi are generally absent on camp and there is a friendly relaxed atmosphere here. Single females manage fine here. There is a range of activities and clubs to keep you occupied in your spare time, e.g. golf, tennis, swimming, cross fit, touch rugby, football, horse-riding etc.
The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum of 5 year’s experience. A positive attitude and the capacity to work well under pressure are essential. A minimum of a year commitment is expected, although there is potential to stay longer and most of our vets have stayed 5-6 years.
