Are you a Veterinarian who is passionate about tailored patient care and building relationships with your patients and their Family? We are a privately owned small animal and exotics clinic in the heart of Hobart looking for a Veterinarian to join our team of dedicated professionals. We offer a supportive, collaborative team environment and encourage a flexible roster to support your work life balance.
We have an amazing client base who are typically very proactive in their veterinary care. The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, but we do see birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and mice allowing us to work on a wide variety of cases of differing complexity.
If you don’t have a desire to work with exotics, we’re happy to only schedule you cats and dogs.
We strive to create great relationships with all of our clients and make them feel comfortable to trust us with the care of their pets.
In an already mentally taxing profession we strive to ensure we don’t have added pressures of abusive clients or poor work culture. If a client becomes abusive, they are no longer welcome as a client of our practice. All staff are treated as equals with kindness and respect at all times.
We have a high nurse to vet ratio to ensure you have support while consulting, they are there to write notes, prepare medications and restrain animals so you don’t have to do it all on your own.
Located in Sandy Bay Tasmania, 5 minutes from the centre of Hobart it is only a short walk to the beach and many local cafes/restaurants. Tasmania is a beautiful place to live, with something for everyone whether you are looking for adventure or relaxing by the fire at a beautiful winery.
