At Animal Medical Centre, we pride ourselves on providing personal, caring, and affordable service for our clients and their pets. Due to expansion, we are on the hunt for two passionate Veterinarians to join our growing team!

We operate a purpose-built, modern hospital which opened its doors in 2000 and has a strong and loyal client base. We have recently expanded by opening a dedicated surgery facility, Animal Surgery Centre, in the adjoining building. This addition supports our longstanding Animal Medical Centre, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and engaging environment where veterinarians can thrive and develop their skills.

Our practice is highly regarded for orthopaedic procedures, especially TPLO surgeries, and is trusted for our expertise, experience, and affordability. Additionally, we plan to install a CT Scan within the next 12 months to further enhance our diagnostic capabilities.

What we are looking for:

• A veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the support of a highly experienced veterinary and nursing team.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace the varied caseload that each day presents.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A great work ethic and a can-do attitude.
• Experience handling a mix of consults, medicine, surgery, and any special interests you would like to bring to the clinic.
• Veterinarians with a few years of experience are highly desired, but we welcome all applicants.

The role entails:

• 5-day weekly roster – no on-call or after-hours required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Applicants with MANZCVS membership are highly desired.
• Expected salary $90,000 - $170,000, depending on experience.

• Idexx and Vetscan in-house Pathology
• CT Scan (installation planned for next year!)
• Three brand-new anaesthetic machines
• Otoscope, Arthroscope, Endoscope
• IM3 Dental scaling machine
• Valley Lab Ligasure
• Full ICU equipment (IVF pumps, Doppler, etc.)
• Five consult rooms
• Three dedicated surgery suites
