As I sat down to write this ad, I thought about the things that have been important to me when I’ve considered a job position as a Vet. Having had several jobs over 25 years myself, I realise that I have certain criteria that I aim to satisfy when considering a role as a Veterinarian.

• I like to have the permission to refer tricky cases to specialists to achieve the best outcome for my patients, without the pressure of keeping every case “in-house”.
• I like to be fairly and generously remunerated for an honest day’s work.
• I like to have opportunities to receive regular and positive feedback from my employers and colleagues so I can grow.

• We are looking for an experienced vet – We are looking for someone that could do 3 or 4 days per week - the hours in the vicinity of 27 - 36 hours per week, but we would be interested in speaking with someone that could do slightly more, or slightly less.
• We are looking for someone that likes a bit of surgery, or a lot. Routine soft tissue, neuters and dentistry is a must, but orthopaedic interest is a bonus.
• We are looking for someone that enjoys their consulting too. We seek an all-rounder, but will consider those vets that have a penchant for either consulting or surgery.
• We are looking for someone that gets on with the job.
• We are looking for someone that treats our clients, our team and themselves with respect.

We offer a generous salary (paid hourly) equivalent to $120,000 to $150,000 plus super Pro-rata, based on experience and proficiency.
