About Bellarine Veterinary Practice
Bellarine Veterinary Practice has been providing quality care to animals in the Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula area for 45 years. Our clinics are located in Newcomb, Grovedale, Drysdale, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale, with our Newcomb clinic holding AVA hospital of excellence accreditation.
We value education and development as a training hospital and provide a great learning environment not only for new graduates. Several of our vets have achieved their memberships across; surgery, medicine & dentistry and many others have special interests in pocket pets, wildlife & behaviour. About the role
In this exciting diverse role, you will be performing a combination of consults as well as a wide range of surgeries which can be done independently depending on experience or under the guidance of one of our senior vets.
As part of the BVP team you will be fully equipped to succeed with superior facilities as well as being fully supported by our amazing team of qualified and highly skilled nurses in all aspects of; consults, surgical & hospital nursing.
We are passionate about providing our employees a strong work/life balance therefore all our full-time vets work 4 full days with an RDO each week and rotating weekend roster. There is no after-hours work.
What you’ll need to succeed
- BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
- Strong communication and client relationship building skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to think on the go
- Commitment to best practice and continuing education
