Specialist or Registrar in Veterinary Ophthalmology - Full Time or Part Time
At Animal Eye Services, we’ve been a leader in veterinary ophthalmology for over 25 years. We are expanding and looking for the right person to become part of our wonderful team. Highly regarded for our expertise, we are dedicated to supporting our referring veterinarians and providing unparalleled care to pets and their families (our glowing Google reviews speak for themselves!).
We are excited to invite a Specialist or Registrar to join our close-knit team in 2025 at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Shailer Park. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a leading veterinary ophthalmology practice where you’ll have access to top notch equipment, a large and diverse caseload, and an unmatched level of support. Together we bring decades of experience and you will be an addition to a 7 vet team incorporating 3 specialists, 2 registrars, a senior resident and an intern.
Whether you seek a full-time or part-time role, you’ll thrive in an environment designed to elevate your career and continue to set the benchmark in animal ophthalmology. We place strong emphasis on work life balance (with no on call!) and we offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
Our team culture is our strongest asset and we genuinely cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment where our staff love coming to work. You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team of highly skilled nurses and dedicated easy going veterinarians.
Why Choose Us?
- Brand-New Facilities: Our purpose-built clinic (currently under construction) includes five consulting rooms, two minor theaters, and a dual-microscope main theatre, along with advanced diagnostic tools. It has been designed to not only be highly functional but be an aesthetically beautiful workplace!
- Work-Life Balance: Strictly no on-call or after-hours requirements, ensuring we all have time for what matters most.
- Professional Growth: You'll be able to take advantage of a generous CE culture, plus additional opportunities for mentorship and development.
- A Diverse and Impactful Caseload: We have a very high surgical caseload and you will have the opportunity to tackle complex, challenging cases that will refine your skills and push the boundaries of what’s possible in veterinary ophthalmology, all within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Relocation Assistance: We welcome applicants from interstate and overseas, offering assistance to ensure a smooth and stress-free move.
- A Team You’ll Be Proud to Work With: We are extremely proud of our amazing team of people. You will find a workplace where everyone’s contributions are valued, collaboration thrives, and shared successes drive us forward.
