What we are looking for: -
Dedicated, hardworking, friendly Veterinarian with a passion for small animals
We are ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years SA experience, and remuneration will be based on experience, however we will look at anyone, for the right person.
This position is Permanent Part-time can either start immediately with a few shifts a fortnight offered, or start end of September/October, October being when we can increase the shifts going forward. Saturday Shift will be required every second Saturday. Initially just consulting can be offered and from October onwards surgery shift can be included so experience in both consulting and surgery or just consulting can also be offered.
About us:
We are a purpose built 6 vet 10 Nurse Practice 35 minutes south of Perth on the coast that is exclusively small animal although there is a large Equine hospital next door, however we are two separate businesses.
The hospital is well established, very busy, and staffed with both experienced vets and vet nurses. We also have a vet on staff who is extremely experienced in all exotics, rabbits, birds, reptiles, natives etc.
Facility wise, we have full digital radiology, dental digital radiology, high end dental equipment, ultrasounds, in house IDEXX, capnography, Petmap +, bair huggers, warming anaesthetic circuits along with 4-5 year-old anaesthetic machines and a well-lit modern Surgery.
We are a passionate hard working team that encourage an inclusive and supportive environment. We believe in a well-balanced work life ratio and although we take our profession serious we also do like to enjoy and laugh when and where necessary. We have always had a very low turnover of staff and a happy working environment.
