We currently have two (2) exceptional opportunities available for mixed practice veterinarians, whether you're a recent graduate, have some experience, or are highly experienced - no problem! This practice was established in 1970 and has been in the current ownership since 1991.

CASE MIX
Our case mix is truly one-of-a-kind, consisting of approximately 40% small animals, 55% equine, and 5% livestock (dependent on livestock prices and seasons).

We offer an incredibly flexible working environment, with minimal on-call after-hours work (1 in 4 weekends with mentored support if required). SALARY
Our salary package is highly attractive and designed to reward your skills, experience, and performance. Along with a generous salary, we offer many additional benefits such as:
- AVA membership plus at least one SIG membership
- NSW Veterinary Board Registration fees
- EPA licence,
- CE course subsidies
- significant rent subsidy for first year of employment payable in arrears
- relocation/sign up subsidy payable in arrears
CLIENT BASE
Our client base is extensive, and we take pride in being selective about the cases we handle. Our case variety is unmatched, as we draw cases from a vast geographical area, providing you with a challenging and fulfilling work experience.
FACILITIES
Our practice consists of two licensed facilities:
- Pet Medical Centre - a small animal practice exclusively focused on dogs (95%) and cats (5%) only, allowing you to focus on these two species. An extensive range of equipment is available that would match or surpass that of many practices. Newly renovated also.
- Dubbo Equine Hospital - a facility equipped with advanced equipment and surgical specialists visiting regularly, providing you with the tools and resources to deliver exceptional care to equine, cattle, and sheep patients. The surgery is equipped with a hydraulic surgical table; gaseous anaesthesia and monitoring; arthroscopy equipment; scope; DR x-ray equipment; several ultrasound machines - limb, body and repro capability; shock-wave; lab equipment.
