Unique Opportunity – Please Read This
Hi, I am the owner of Epsom Avenue Veterinary Clinic. We need a vet to join our team in a full or part-time capacity.
Someone told me to write a job ad using Chat GPT. I tried that and got a really boring generic ad. It doesn't capture the essence of the job.
We are a small practice but offer a lot. In addition to providing the standard small animal services we became the first practice in Western Australia to offer radio-active iodine treatment for hyperthyroid cats. We are still the only practice to utilise scintigraphy as part of the treatment regimen to allow the administration of a titrated dose of Iodine131. This is widely recognised as the gold-standard treatment approach. We do this in conjunction with the team of nuclear medicine scientists at TelemedVet.
Operating alongside Perth Equine Hospital we have access to lots of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Unfortunately, the time to utilise all this equipment and explore less routine treatment modalities in dogs and cats that are commonly utilised in equine practice is limited due to the routine work-load. With an additional person that could change. Is this something you could be interested in?
The rest of the job details are fairly standard. Friendly, relaxed team, good remuneration, usual conditions etc. Vet degree registerable in WA required. Well supported role but need to be able to do some sole charge. More importantly will try and create a role for the right person.
