Why Bathurst Central?

We’re not just a clinic; we’re a family. Our close-knit team supports each other and works together to deliver the highest standard of care for both our patients and clients. Whether you're a seasoned vet or just starting out, we provide the level of support you need to succeed. New graduates are highly encouraged to apply – we’ll help you build confidence and develop your skills at your own pace. Bathurst, NSW, offers a blend of history, community, and stunning scenery. Known for its rich heritage and famous Mount Panorama, it provides a vibrant lifestyle with outdoor adventures, cultural events, and affordable living. Proximity to Sydney and career opportunities, especially in education and healthcare, make it ideal for those seeking a balance of rural charm and urban convenience.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible schedule – Pick your own days and hours to fit your lifestyle.
  • No after-hours or weekend work! Our vets work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with a mix of consultations and surgeries to keep things interesting.
  • A supportive team – Our experienced nurses and vets are always ready to lend a hand, share knowledge, and collaborate on cases. You’ll never feel alone in your work.
  • Top-notch equipment – Enjoy working with in-house IDEXX blood and urinalysis machines, dental X-rays, and a brand-new VetScan Imagist for quick and accurate diagnoses.
  • A fun, friendly culture – Expect endless snacks, questionable singing, and plenty of laughter (and maybe a little dark humour) to brighten your day.
  • Ongoing development – We offer yearly paid study leave and access to workshops to ensure you stay at the top of your game.
  • Fitness passport – Take advantage of your free time with access to gyms and fitness centres for a healthy work-life balance.

What we would love:

  • A qualified veterinarian (BVSc or equivalent) registered to practice in NSW.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and strives for excellence in patient care.
  • Passionate about providing the best care for your patients and dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Social and enjoy building lasting relationships with colleagues outside of work.
