Greenhills Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned and well-established small animal practice which has been serving the community in East Maitland in the heart of the Hunter Valley for over 40 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate veterinarian to help grow our practice and encourage your growth as a practitioner!

Do you have an area of veterinary science you’re passionate in? Maybe you love exotics, or dentistry, or really love a good medical work up. Our team LOVES learning and is here to support your continuing education in growth in various areas with ongoing education, support and mentorship, and an amazing client base who allows for the practicing of exceptional medicine.

We have a strong reputation in the community for providing high standards of care and treatment, as well as an exceptional client experience, and we were recently named one of the 3 Best Veterinarians in Maitland in Hunter Valley/Newcastle area.

The hospital is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6 pm and vets are rostered for 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

• The Hospital is well-supported by a team of nurses, with 4-5 nurses rostered on each day, a practice manager and dedicated customer service representatives.
• You also have the support of our Veterinary Director who has 12 years clinical experience as a veterinarian and 20+ years of industry experience who is focused on your ongoing education and growth as a veterinary professional.
• The practice is purpose-built and well-equipped with in-house bloods, digital x-ray, brand new ultrasound, and IM3 dental equipment, including dental radiology which our nurses are trained in getting high quality images efficiently.
• Competitive and above award salary package- $90,000-$130,000 depending on hours rostered and experience level.
• Ongoing training and development, CE allowance of $2000 and one week’s study leave per year

If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills who works well in a team, are a great problem solver with high attention to detail and good time management, we would love to hear from you now. Twelve months post qualification experience preferred but not required.
