Midcoast Vets is a compassionate independent mixed practice which has been caring for the pets and farms animals in our community for over 30 years. Our team works hard, and delivers a high standard of patient care to our clients. We are very invested in nurturing a supportive, respectful and professional team culture. We also have a strong focus on work-life balance, so our staff have time to spend with their families and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle that comes with living in our region.

We are a growing practice with 3 clinics (two of which are custom built), and we are lucky to have lots of good equipment; with our newest acquisition a CT scanner installed in our brand new Macksville clinic. We handle a large variety of cases and support and encourage our team to take on challenging cases.

What we are looking for

• BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in New South Wales
• A confident veterinarian ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience
• The ability to handle a mixed caseload of medical and surgical cases
• Experience with large animals
• A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Excellent communication and client relationship building skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and a positive ‘can do’ attitude!

Salary will be based on experience but within a range $80,000 - $130,000.
