Ideally, we are seeking a passionate and caring veterinarian who still has that special love of the job who can become part of the team. Dedication and someone who takes pride in their work would be the ideal candidate.
The successful applicant will have exceptional clinical and people skills and take great pride in practicing high quality small animal medicine and surgery. Practical clinical experience and competency with general surgery including a personal ability to take initiative, solve problems and have a strong client focus are essential.
We seek someone who is both capable of practicing high quality small animal medicine and surgery with the ability to perform a routine abdominal ultrasound preferred. A minimum of 2 years clinic experience however we are open to new graduates applying however they will not be our first choice.
A special focus on client care and outstanding patient care is expected as we go above and beyond for our clients however, we support ourselves and have a strong focus on team and individual mental health also.
We have a varied caseload which is easily managed with a wide variety of in-house equipment to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. We have the latest in in-house Idexx pathology machines and utilise the external laboratory frequently. We have ultrasonic dental machines, digital radiology and a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical tools to assist with the candidate with a strong passion for surgery.
Our team is a close knit one with the willingness to welcome someone new in and make them a part of our team. Working together and supporting each other’s passions is one of our very strong points.
