About us

Spearwood Veterinary Hospital is a busy and energetic small animal practice. We are a long-established practice and provide compassionate and high-quality veterinary care from a purpose built facility.

We are currently looking to add an enthusiastic Veterinarian to our great team of vets and nurses. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing our patients and clients with an exceptional level of care in a friendly, experienced and supportive environment.

Our Veterinarians are allowed to enjoy a 20 minute standard consultation schedule. The practice is well equipped with digital xray (including dental xray), ultrasonic scaler, infusion pumps, high-quality in-house laboratory and Rx works computer software.

Our support staff roster is generous with the allocated nurse to vet ratios with experienced nurses/ support team members who work well together.

What we want from you:

• BVSc or equivalent qualification, with current registration to practice in Western Australia
• Caring Veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to empathise with both patients and colleagues
• Dedication to delivering exceptional patient care and improving outcomes
• Proven ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships
• A positive attitude and sense of humour to contribute to a supportive work environment
