The Location

The picturesque Surf Coast offers the perfect blend of beaches, bush, and city proximity. Our recently renovated clinic boasts ocean views from the lunchroom, providing the perfect backdrop to your workday.

The Work

A diverse caseload of small animals (dogs & cats making up the majority) with a good mix of exotics and wildlife. Benefit from a close working relationship with visiting specialists.

The Hours

A two or three day week: choice of days are; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, plus every third Saturday (9am-1pm only), totalling 23-27 hours (hours negotiable and depending on preference). The emergency clinic is just 20 minutes away, so no after-hours. We insist on a lunch break and (almost) always leave on time.

The Pay

It’s by the hour because we think this is fair. Based on experience, it could be anywhere from $45/hr-$65/hr for permanent part-time (+25% for casual).

Clinic Days

Each day, we have a minimum of three vets on duty, with ample support staff, including highly skilled and qualified nurses. The week includes at least one full surgery day, with rosters planned well in advance.
