  • Do you want to work in a beach-side suburb just 10 minutes from McLaren Vale wine region and only 30 minutes from the CBD?
  • Do you like working in a busy, high quality, accredited hospital with great facilities, fantastic support staff and interesting cases?
  • Do you enjoy talking to people, forming relationships with clients and doing what's best for them and their pets?
  • Do you want a great work-life balance with no on-call or after-hours work?
  • Are you maybe sick of KPI’s, high staff turnover and working for shareholders?!
  • Do you like eating hot chips and drinking great coffee?

Then we might just have the job for you!

Our hospital is expanding. We are doubling the size of our purpose built hospital and are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our experienced 5 full time, 3 part time vet team located in beautiful Port Noarlunga. The purpose-built family owned and operated hospital is modern and well-equipped with DR x-ray, ultrasound, rhinoscopy, dental DR radiography, patient anaesthesia monitoring and Idexx in house lab. We have a great, long established client base, offer high quality patient care and perform most surgery and diagnostics in house. You will be supported by a fantastic team of qualified nurses, receptionists, a practice manager and a business owner that works alongside you and supports your individual interests with further education allowances.

The clinic is open 7 days a week, 8am - 7.30pm weekdays, 8am - 4.30pm Saturday and 9am - 1pm Sunday. Weekend work is shared between all vets but we place value on a good work-life balance, paid lunch breaks and no after-hours work or on call duties.

The successful candidate will be hardworking and enthusiastic with a desire to practice a high standard of veterinary surgery and medicine alongside excellent client communication skills. A full-time position is available but a part time position would also be considered.

We strive to provide a friendly, supportive workplace with daily hospital rounds to discuss cases, regular vet meetings to ensure we update and improve patient care, and enjoy hot chips, coffee and treats on a regular basis from the surrounding cafes and bakery.
