Veterinary Position spring-summer 2025

Casual Veterinary Position available in the township of St Helens, by the sea, in Tasmania.

The East Coast Veterinary Clinic is currently looking for a Casual Veterinarian for any time during the period of Spring 2025 - Summer 2026 (October to April, flexible) with the opportunity for ongoing permanent employment. Accommodation available.

The clinic is currently open Monday to Friday, 9-5 and 9-2 Saturdays. This position will involve working alongside me, the owner-veterinarian, for a greater part but I might take the opportunity to take the odd few days off once the candidate becomes comfortable with the clinic and staff. The clinic will then be a sole charge position in a very low-stress clinic, with very supportive nurses and the approach to after-hours can be as flexible as you like.

The East Coast Veterinary Clinic is based in St Helens; a two-hour drive from Launceston and the Clinic works civilised hours, with considerate clients. In St Helens there is sun, surf, open space and the most beautiful beaches and coves that you will ever explore. As well as playing in the Eastern waters, there is mountain bike riding, walks and heaps of stunning scenery.
