Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarians – Northern Beaches

Our Northern Beach facility has been fitted with a purpose-built Emergency and ICU space, managed by Dr Megan Collins, Critical Care Registrar being supported by Dr Andre Grafas, Emergency Clinical Lead and our experienced emergency vets and nurses. Your patients will have access to mechanical ventilators, high flow oxygen, neonatal cribs, full service in-house lab, Ultrasound, CT scanner, digital radiography, and two well equipped surgical theatres with EMG/EEG and MRI available with the North Ryde team just down the road!

Offering a truly collaborative environment, you will work in a growing multidisciplinary setting, whilst having the opportunity to draw on the knowledge and experience amongst the extensive network of SASH specialists, assisting you to achieve the best results for your patients. Just a few of the teams you will work collaboratively with onsite include; surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and anaesthesia.

About You:

We are looking for a passionate vet who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to their work. You will have the following skills:

  • A keen interest in emergency and critical care with a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working in an extremely busy environment
  • A Degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW
  • A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a Vet
  • Previous experience in emergency service would be highly regarded but is not essential.
