As an ECC Veterinarian with Animal Emergency Services (AES) at Tanawha, you’ll be stepping into a vital role. You’ll be providing emergency and critical care to pets that really need it. Whether you’re a seasoned ECC vet or a GP vet looking to dive into the world of emergency medicine, you’ll find yourself among a team of talented and supportive vets who are all about delivering compassionate care to every patient.

Permanent part-time opportunity with flexible hours, but we’re happy to consider a casual vet if preferred.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing high-quality emergency and critical care to pets in urgent need.
  • Teaming up with a dedicated crew of vets and nurses to make sure patient care is seamless.
  • Handling tough cases and helping pet owners navigate challenging decisions with compassion and professionalism.
  • Staying calm when things get hectic and keeping a solution-focused mindset in those fast-paced emergency situations.

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or something similar) that’s recognised here in Australia.
  • Current or eligible registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board in Queensland.
  • A flexible, adaptable attitude, all in for providing top-tier care.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • A genuine passion for emergency medicine and a focus on putting patients first.
