AES Carrara have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian to join our team. This is a part-time role (60 hours/fortnight), ideal for someone who wants to practice high-quality emergency medicine without compromising work-life balance. We’ve been serving the Gold Coast community for over 20 years, and we’re passionate about doing emergency medicine well. We work closely with Veterinary Specialist Services and local GPs to deliver the best possible outcomes, no matter the time or day. Our team culture is strong, supportive, and focused on continuous improvement.
We are looking for a Vet with:
- 3 + years EEC Experience
- A veterinary degree recognised within Australia
- Capability to conduct moderately complex clinical consultations and surgical procedures
- Resilience and a strong collaborative drive
- Ability to operate as a team player, generate enthusiasm in the team and build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills: ability to be client-focused, with a positive attitude; able to negotiate effectively and communicate openly and honestly on all levels
