About Us

The Victorian Equine Group operates Bendigo Equine Hospital and several satellite locations in Victoria. Our satellite locations service studs and clients in the Lancefield region, in the Nagambie region and in Victoria’s northern regions.

The Bendigo Equine Hospital was established in 2012 and is both a first opinion and referral hospital servicing clients from across Victoria. We operate with a team of 10-13 vets, depending on the season. Our team is highly skilled and features both surgical and reproductive specialists, ambulatory and hospital-based clinicians.

Located opposite the Bendigo Racecourse, Bendigo Equine Hospital is a specialist surgical and medical facility. Our caseload is approximately 60% commercial and 40% pleasure horses. The practice services a number of studs in the area therefore a large proportion of our work includes reproductive and neonatal medicine in the breeding season.

Beyond the clinic, Bendigo offers an outstanding lifestyle—a vibrant and affordable regional city with excellent schools, cultural attractions and a welcoming community. Enjoy beautiful countryside, equestrian events, and a relaxed pace of life, all while being just a short drive from Melbourne (1.5 hours to the airport).

What we can offer:
