Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian

Heritage Vets

Busselton, South West Region, WA Other Full-Time Posted 4 days, 19 hours ago

Job Description

Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian Position Available

Busselton is a beautiful and thriving regional coastal town of 38,000 people and is continuing to rapidly grow.

The region offers great work opportunities for partners including direct fly-in fly-out from our local airport.

In addition, we offer great schools, a new hospital, a world-class entertainment venue about to open, a newly developed Jetty entertainment venue, a strong sporting culture including our famous annual jetty–swim and tri-athlon and the magnificent coastal life-style and foodie dining opportunities of the internationally known Maragaret River Wine Region.

It is a town most people arrive in and stay.

We also offer a workplace owned by myself, a passionate, full-time Veterinarian who is committed to creating a team of long-term staff at all levels who are proud to be part of the Heritage team.

I have been a committed vet and Practice owner for over 30 years.

Heritage Vet is situated in a beautiful Heritage building that is committed to premises and equipment that allows us to provide exceptional patient care.

I aim to ensure we create a career that offers professional development, support and genuine happiness in the position.

I wish to help us all to achieve work-life balance with a focus on caring about each-others mental health in a career where these factors have created way too much loss from the profession and to be an employer who will listen whenever needed.

I am happy to remunerate well for the best applicant.

We require a minimum of two years' work experience and a Veterinary degree able to be registered in Western Australia.

We are happy to take on a vet wishing to move to WA from inter-state or overseas.

We do also have a growing after-hours component to the Practice and am happy to incorporate a vet who wishes to develop this aspect of their career as well.

The position will entail ideally a minimum of 30 hours per week to ensure continuity of patient care and may incorporate after-hours care for an interested vet.

We do offer roster flexibility to accommodate both personal and family needs.

You will be working with a dedicated, experienced team of nurses and vets.

If you feel this position could be ideal for you, please email your cover letter and CV to: Attention Kristina via vetnurse@heritagevethospital.com.au.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Kristina Lightfoot,
Owner/Director
